Terms of Accommodation

[Agreement for the Temporary Use of a Private Lodging Building]

(Conclusion of the Agreement)

Article 1

HIWIN Inc. (hereinafter "Party A") and the guest (hereinafter "Party B") have concluded this agreement for the temporary use of a building (hereinafter the "Agreement") as stipulated in Article 40 of the Act on Land and Building Leases (hereinafter the "Act"), under the following provisions, with respect to the leased property (hereinafter the "Facility").

(Term of the Agreement)

Article 2

The term of the Agreement shall be as follows.

1. This Agreement terminates upon expiry of its term and is not renewed. However, this shall not apply where the Facility is used again through a booking made on a site listing the Facility.

2. The period of use of the Facility under this Agreement shall be at least one night and two days (two nights and three days for special-zone private lodging facilities), and cancellation for a period shorter than that is not permitted.

3. If this Agreement is cancelled within less than two days (three days for special-zone private lodging facilities), no refund of the accommodation charge shall be made.

4. The term of the Agreement shall be the period specified in the booking details confirmed by the guest through the booking site.

(Purpose of Use)

Article 3

1. Party B shall use the Facility solely for the purpose of temporary accommodation.

2. Party B shall not use the Facility for any purpose other than that stated in the preceding paragraph.

(Supported Languages)

Article 4

Guests staying at the Facility shall be able to communicate in Japanese, English or Chinese.

(Identity Verification)

Article 5

When using the Facility, Party B is obliged to present photo identification such as a passport, driver's licence or residence card.

(Points to Note When Using the Facility,
Services Available at Each Facility)

Article 6

Guests shall observe the following when using the Facility:

1. How to use the equipment provided at the Facility

2. How to dispose of waste

3. Not to disturb neighbours with noise or otherwise

4. Whom to contact and how to respond initially in an emergency such as a fire

5. For hygiene management of the room or other administrative necessities, staff may enter the room with the prior consent of the guest.

Details are set out in the separate house rules. Party B shall confirm them following the explanation given by Party A.

(Damage to the Facility or Equipment)

Article 7

Party B shall pay the cost of restoring the original condition in the event of significant damage caused while using the Facility or its equipment.

(Exclusions)

Article 8

As this Agreement is concluded solely for the purpose of temporary accommodation, Party B confirms that the Act on Land and Building Leases does not apply, and that this Agreement does not apply to rooms licensed under the Hotel Business Act.
